Finders Keepers in partnership with Flag in the Sand are pleased to be hosting the inaugural Advantage Group-Golf Unplugged Corporate
PRO-AM supporting The Pied Piper Appeal with the participation of pros (supplied by the organisers or invited by yourselves) and amateurs from all around the UK. Scheduled to take place between the 5th and 8th May 2011, a total of 36 teams with a handicap limited to 24 for the gentlemen and 28 for the ladies will compete in a 36-hole tournament on the stunning Abama Golf & Spa Resort,Tenerife, Spain. The tournament will conclude with prizes, awards and a Gala Ceremony.

Ocean and is located near the historic town of Playa San Juan. The rooms are laid out amongst extensive sub-tropical gardens boasting

Golf Course
Dave Thomas put more than 50 years of experience of the professional golf industry into the creation of Abama’s golf course, now
widely regarded as one of his greatest achievements. Rambling over 6,271 metres of ever-changing terrain, it features 22 lakes linked
by impressive waterfalls and white-sand bunkers, and 25,000 palm trees. The course reaches a high point of 315 metres above sea
level, and most holes provide spectacular views of the Atlantic and the island of La Gomera. The large greens provide an infinite choice
of flag positions which, combined with the wide tee areas at each hole, makes the course accessible to players with high handicaps,
and a challenge even for the most experienced golfer.

The Pied Piper Appeal
The charity was started in 1992 to improve the lives of sick children in Gloucestershire. Initially created to fund a new children’s hospital
for the county, the Appeal now reaches out to help sick children from across Gloucestershire in many different ways. The efforts of thousands of Pied Piper supporters have raised over £2million to date. The funds have been used to build the new Children’s Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, refurbish and revitalise the Battledown Children’s Ward at Cheltenham General Hospital, purchase new equipment, enhance hospital environments and help individual children to make life at home easier with hoists and other equipment. But the work cannot stop here. Medical advances mean that new and specialised services are continually becoming available and should be offered to our local children. Yet this puts a greater demand on the resources of the NHS in Gloucestershire and it needs our support. So please help us to build a better future for children in sickness and pain across the county. Imagine: A sick or injured child in hospital. The last thing we want to contemplate is having to visit a sick or injured child in hospital this year. The feelings of pain, fear and panic for the child combined with our sense of anxiety and helplessness as parents, relatives or friends. We can’t change everything but we can make things better.

Format:
36 holes with each team consisting of 3 amateurs and 1 professional
DAY 1: Stableford Team Competition ¾ Handicap Allowance and
Professional Individual Event (Pro Event - Stroke Play)
DAY 2: Stableford Team ¾ Handicap Allowance and Professional Individual Event (Pro Event - Stroke Play) plus nearest the pin and longest drive for the amateurs.
To participate in the PRO AM all amateurs must have a maximum handicap of 24 for men or 28 for ladies. A copy of the handicap certificate is required at event registration.
A £5,000 Pro-event Prize Fund. The PRIZE MONEY FOR PROFESSIONALS will be for the top three scores
PRIZES FOR AMATEURS for the first three teams: golf equipment and clothing
PRIZES FOR LONGEST DRIVE and NEAREST to the PIN: golf equipment
The STUNNING EVENT TROPHY will be presented to the company represented by the winning team
