Goodwood Revival Meeting

Friday - The official practice day, with drivers and riders competing for the best positions on the starting grids for the races to come. Lap after lap, cars and motorcycles will be taken to the limit in search of those final few tenths of a second that will decide who starts at the front. There is also the annual Bonhams sale of priceless historic cars and motor racing memorabilia.

Saturday - Sees the racing get underway with the drivers and riders jousting for those much-coveted Goodwood trophies and the honour of being a Goodwood winner. Highlights of the programme will be the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy race for motorcycles, the hugely popular St Mary’s Trophy for saloon cars and the post-war Grand Prix cars fighting for grip as they battle for the Goodwood Trophy. Saturday is also Ladies’ Day where the most spectacular frocks are on show.

Sunday - Features what, for many fans, is the highlight of the weekend’s racing, the Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration race for some of the world’s most valuable racing cars. These are the beautiful GT cars that, in days gone by, contested the famous Tourist Trophy races. The motorcycles are back out again too, as are the saloon cars, as well as a mouth-watering array of historic Formula One cars and sports cars of the 1950s and 1960s in an action-packed programme of wheel to wheel racing. In the air, as ever, will be the Spitfires and Hurricanes that flew from Goodwood to fight the Battle of Britain. The day culminates in the Prize Giving ceremony where Lord March awards his much-coveted prizes and medals. Memories are made of this.

Salvadorri Pavillions

The Salvadorri Pavillions Offer you any combination of seating, from a table for two in the restaurant, a table of 10 in a shared pavilion to your own private pavilion for 30 guests and upwards. Tables of 10 only, the SuperShell Building offers you and your guests a feeling of being part of an exclusive club which sees customers returning year on year. With seats in the nearby Woodcote Grandstand and Goodwood period taxis on hand you will be able to enjoy every aspect of this incredible day.

The Goodwood Mess

Also new for 2010, brings a new exciting and interactive experience to the Revival, you will be treated with delicious food, entertainment and feel part of something very special in this uniquely themed pavilion. Tables of 6 or more mean that smaller groups of 2,4 or 6 will share tables, and ration books will guarantee meals for the day. Continuous entertainment will ensure this is an experience you will never forget. Just be sure that you dress up in your tweeds and trilbies, frills and frocks to fully indulge yourself in this nostalgic and bustling atmosphere.
